Last Updated: October 8, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using https://srinivasalaw.co.in/ (“Website”). The Website is operated by Sri Nivasa Law Firm (Srinivas Law House) (“Firm”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Nature of the Website

The Website provides general information about the Firm and its practice areas, including litigation, civil, criminal, service matters, DRT and banking, consumer and NCDRC matters, corporate litigation, real estate disputes and medical negligence. It also lets visitors contact the Firm and request appointments. The Website does not provide legal advice (see our Disclaimer).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Website’s contact and appointment features.

3. No Advocate-Client Relationship

Using the Website, submitting an enquiry, or speaking with our staff does not create an advocate-client relationship. This relationship arises only through a written engagement (such as an engagement letter, vakalatnama or fee agreement) accepted by the Firm. We may decline any matter at our discretion, including because of conflict of interest, subject-matter limits, capacity or professional rules.

4. Legal Services and Engagement

  • Legal services are provided only under a separate written engagement, which sets out the scope of work, fees, and the responsibilities of both parties.
  • Professional fees depend on the nature, complexity, urgency and forum of the matter, and are communicated before engagement.
  • The Firm acts on the instructions of the client and on the information and documents the client supplies. Clients must provide complete, accurate and timely information and documents.
  • The Firm does not guarantee any outcome, and nothing on the Website should be read as such a guarantee.

5. Consultations and Appointments

  • Consultations may be held by phone, video call or in person, by prior appointment.
  • Consultation hours are as displayed on the Website and may change without notice.
  • Any initial consultation offered without charge is limited to a preliminary discussion and does not constitute formal legal advice or representation.
  • The Firm may reschedule or cancel appointments due to court commitments or emergencies, and will inform you as early as possible.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

  • Provide accurate, current and complete information in any form or communication;
  • Not use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing or misleading purposes;
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or data, introduce malware, or interfere with its operation;
  • Not scrape, copy, reproduce or republish Website content for commercial use without our written permission; and
  • Not send confidential or privileged information through the Website before an engagement is confirmed.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, articles, blog posts, graphics, logos, layout and design, is owned by or licensed to the Firm and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright notices intact. Any other use, including copying, modifying, distributing or republishing, requires our prior written consent.

8. Blog and Informational Content

Blog posts and resources are written for general awareness and do not address individual circumstances. We do not guarantee that they are current, complete or error-free. Do not rely on them in place of professional advice.

We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

10. Confidentiality

The Firm maintains the confidentiality of client information in accordance with the Advocates Act, 1961, the Bar Council of India Rules and Section 132 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, which protects professional communications between advocates and clients. This protection applies to communications made in the course of, and for the purpose of, a professional engagement. It does not necessarily extend to unsolicited messages sent before an engagement is accepted.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm, its advocates, associates, employees and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Liability under a written engagement for legal services is governed by that engagement and applicable law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Firm from claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
