State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (SCDRC):

Operating at the state level, the SCDRC is also known as the State Commission.

This court has the authority to hear cases involving claims between ₹1 crore and ₹10   crores.

Additionally, the SCDRC has appellate jurisdiction, meaning it can hear appeals from cases decided by the District Commissions within the state.

State Commissions offer consumers the opportunity to escalate their cases if they are dissatisfied with the District Commission’s ruling.

 

National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC):

The NCDRC is the highest level of consumer court in India and operates at the national level, headquartered in New Delhi.

The NCDRC also has appellate and revisional jurisdiction over cases decided by State Commissions, allowing it to address appeals or revise judgments from these lower commissions.
